The Student Sustainability Advisory Council brings together members of sustainability-related student groups to provide feedback on projects, programs, and initiatives from the Sustainability Hub, Campus + Community Planning, UBC Wellbeing, and other departments. The SSAC is a crucial platform where UBC students actively shape the university’s climate and sustainability efforts. By serving on the SSAC, students provide direct feedback to UBC’s Sustainability Hub and Climate Hub on key projects and initiatives, ensuring that student voices drive UBC’s sustainability strategies. The SSAC also offers a space for collaboration between student sustainability leaders, fostering dialogue and the creation of new climate programs.
