Climate change remains one of the most pressing issues of our time. This Earth Week, join us to learn how UBC is tackling climate change and the progress in achieving UBC’s Climate Action Plan. Adopted in 2010, the Plan sets bold targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. To date, UBC has achieved a 30% reduction in its greenhouse gas emissions from a 2007 baseline, despite an increase in both building space and student enrolment. Join us to learn about UBC’s progress in meeting our climate targets, the next phase of implementation to achieve our 2020 emissions targets, and what you can do.
