Do You Know the Mussel Man?

Ian will discuss the diversity of freshwater bivalves in British Columbia, including both native and invasive species. Fundamental differences in their biology will be addressed, and especially implications of recent research for the conservation of the Rocky Mountain Ridged Mussel, an endangered native bivalve known in Canada only from the Okanagan Valley.
