Have you always wanted to spice up your text-based materials in Connect with external web-based media to support learning in new ways? Here is your chance! This introductory hands-on workshop will explore how external media (flickr, wikis, youtube, vimeo, twitter, slideshare, and much more!) can be embedded and/or linked to your Connect course, enabling the enhancement of your face-to-face, blended or distance course materials. The workshop will also include discussions on students as authors, best practices and UBC's copyright policies.
