Earlier this year, UBC launched the Flexible Learning Initiative with a goal to transform undergraduate education at the university. An inaugural call for proposals process was put in place in early June to encourage faculty and course designers to take a fresh look at how they are delivering learning. This first call brought in a diversity of approaches, from flexible or flipped designs for classrooms to the importance of learning inside and outside the classroom to students acting as co-developers or co-producers of learning content.
Join this interactive presentation to learn about how this first wave of flexible learning projects are progressing and what we're learning as students and educators.
Location: Irving K Barber Learning Centre - Lillooet Room 301
