Workshop Description: This workshop will focus on the mapping, plant selection, design and design communication skills necessary to develop a forest garden. It will challenge students to identify values and see their application in the development of a zone plan, and conceptual planting plan for a "Food Forest" that can nourish both the land and those human hands that tend it. Students will receive an e-book, and should leave the session with some drawing, modeling and facilitation skills valuable for transitioning schools, parks and gardens to a more resilient form of food and fibre production.
