Thu, November 20, 2014 5:30 PM - 5:30 PM BOOKSTORE. This year, Common Energy is hoping to create a sense of community through a unique outdoor celebration that inspires creativity, fun, and awareness on how to be sustainable during the wintertime and that encourages the community to spend time outside even during the colder months!
There will be two day time events from 10-2PM on Wednesday, November 19th and Thursday, November 20th at Martha Piper Plaza on Main Mall featuring snowflake making & mason jar painting, an art gallery showcase and free hot chocolate with your own mug.
Later, from 5:30-8PM on Thursday, November 19th, the day time booth will be transformed into a night filled with music & dance performances, healthy community eats, Christmas & tea-light display with cozy blankets, yummy drinks and a photo booth! Music performances will include UBC's own Luke Wallace & Band as well as the Blank Vinyl Project. NOTE: this will be at Koerner Plaza!
