Sat, December 5, 2015 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM UBC FARM. $42 ($34 for registered students -- valid student ID is required) + GST. In this hands-on class, you will learn a simplified method to make your own chocolate bar without refined sugar or milk, but full of antioxidants and minerals. A few demos will also complete your knowledge as an apprentice-chocolatier! You will take home your own home-made chocolate bar, as well as recipes. (In addition, kits will be for sale for those who want to make more chocolate bars at home.)

About the Instructors
Chantale Roy is a Certified Raw Food Chef from Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in California. Originally from Québec, she grew up on a farm and practiced Community Supported Agriculture on her grand-father’s land. Chantale spread her love for all living things through community involvement, her raw gourmet cuisine restaurants in Quebec and in British Columbia, her books Rawfreshing Cuisine and Rawfreshing Express Vol. 1, and the 12 short culinary art programs she developed at UBC Continuing Studies.
