The Tree and Shrub Workshop will focus on the proper identification of various trees and shrubs along with their specific uses, including food, medicinal and technological. Contemporary studies and historical usage will both be addressed. Bring pen and paper, water, good walking shoes and clothes suitable for the weather, as this will be an outdoor workshop. A plant list handout will be provided.

About the Instructor: Sarah Orlowski is a Master Herbalist with decades of experience in gardening, farming and wildcrafting herbal medicines. She has an extensive teaching background with many schools, including SFU, the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, Douglas College, Capilano College, etc.
