Above all, I love to read Smil because he resists hype. Hes an original thinker who never gives simple answers to complex questions. He gives me a lot to think about on my drive to work, before my first Diet Coke of the day.
We think hell get your neurons firing too!
Join us at Vancouvers Sheraton Wall Centre on October 14, 2016 for a free public talk where Smil will draw from his expansive background to explore innovation and what he calls Moores curse. His original insights on big questions can help us to better understand how we go to where we are, and with that better understand where we might go from here.
Come early to connect with peers from leading organizations across Vancouver and to explore a poster session featuring some of nuclear physics research being discussed at the APS-DNP 2016 Fall Meeting.
