The People & Planet Friendly Home is a large-scale, multidisciplinary research endeavour spearheaded by ICICS that seeks to develop a unique sustainable housing solution that is both environmentally friendly and improves the quality of life for the occupants of these spaces. Interrelated foundational research in communications, energy management, health and wellness, and home operations is being carried out by 37graduate students and 22 UBC faculty members from 4 different faculties.
